Engaging in therapy is a courageous pursuit. Our stories matter. Early life experiences, traumatic events, disappointment, life transitions - we can easily find ourselves overwhelmed and needing a fresh perspective. Sitting with an empathic listener can help us gain insight into how our experiences affect our relationships and overall healthy functioning. I provide an emotionally safe space and compassionate environment. My desire is that you come away from our time together believing you were heard, seen, and known.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. After teaching high school for a number of years, I returned to school (Angelo State University) and received my M.Ed in Counseling in 2015, and my Post Graduate Certification in Clinical Mental Health in 2016. I my spare time I love cooking, jazz, friends and spending time with my husband and grown kiddos. Counseling is an invaluable part of my own story, and I am passionate about helping others pursue wholeness and health.
